Our Staff

Kimberly Steckler, DDS

Dr. Steckler grew up in Haubstadt, Indiana. She attended St. James School and Gibson Southern High School and graduated from Purdue University in 2002 with a BS in Biology. Dr. Steckler graduated from the Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2006 and then spent seven years practicing in Iowa and Nebraska before moving back home to Indiana. She is active in several dental organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Dr. Steckler was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2016. When not in the office, Dr. Steckler enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon, and two young sons, continuing her dental education, and camping.

Mistie Cook, Assistant

Mistie Cook is a native of Oakland City, Indiana, and is a graduate of Wood Memorial High School. Mistie has over 16 years of experience as a dental assistant and has been with Haubstadt Family Dentistry for over three years. Mistie lives in Francisco, IN with her family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, and supporting Wood Memorial sporting events.

Shawna Hight Reidford, Business Office/Reception

Shawna Hight Reidford grew up in Wadesville, Indiana. She is a graduate of North Posey High School and attended both Ivy Tech and the University of Southern Indiana. Shawna has over twenty years of experience in the dental field and has been with our office for over 4 years.

Shawna resides in Evansville with her husband, Donnie, and their three children, two of whom are twins. Shawna and her family are very active and love sports, boating, and the great outdoors. When Shawna is not at work, she enjoys cheering her kids on at their sporting events and other activities as well as playing on her own competitive volley ball team, in addition to spending time with friends and family.

Cara Steinkuhl, RDH

Cara Crabtree Steinkuhl grew up in Darmstadt, Indiana Cara is a graduate of F.J. Reitz High School and received her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern Indiana in 2004. Cara has been a hygienist for over 14 years and has practiced full time at our office since graduating from college.

Cara and her husband Jake live in Darmstadt with their two children, Peyton and Addilynn. Outside of work, Cara and her family love spending weekends at Barkley Lake boating, fishing, and hiking. In addtion to spending time with her family, Cara also loves gardening, cooking, and is an avid runner.

Alicia Motz, RDH

Alica Tillman-Motz has over 31 years experience as a dental hygienist. She is a native of Newburgh, Indiana. Alicia is a graduate of Castle High School and received her degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern Indiana.

Alica lives in Wadesville, Indiana with her husband, Rick, where they raised their three sons. Outside of work, Alicia is a very active member in the North Posey community. She serves as a catechist at St. Francis Xavier Church in Poseyville, is a member of the Posey County Women's Club, and serves on the Posey County Community Scholarship Committee. She loves spending time with her family and supporting North Posey High School events.

Jodie Paredean, RDH

Jodie Neufelder Paridaen grew up in Fort Branch, Indiana and attended Fort Brach Community School and graduated from Ft. Branch High School. Jodie received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Indiana University-Purdue University, Ft. Wayne in 1979. After completing Hygiene school, she met and married her husband Kurt. Jodie and her family lived in several other areas of Indiana where she practiced full time. Eventually, they moved back home to Fort Branch where they raised their sons, Joe and Adam.

“I have been a dental hygienist in general dentistry for over 30 years. My favorite part of dentistry is the variety it brings every day. I get to treat patients ranging from toddlers to the elderly and anyone in between. I worked for many years right here in Haubstadt for Dr. Ron Rexing as well as several other area offices. I am very happy to continue providing dental hygiene care at Haubstadt Family Dentistry with Dr. Steckler and her staff. It is quite nice to continue seeing a lot of the same people I've grown to know and care for personally over the last few decades.”
